Dear East Bay Montessori families,
We are excited to announce that East Bay Montessori has chosen Clarity as our new Financial Aid application system. Our goal is to make the Financial Aid application process as easy as possible for your family.
You will find that Clarity offers a streamlined and user-friendly Financial Aid application process that can take as few as twenty minutes to complete. It is mobile-friendly, so you can complete your application on your phone or tablet! Furthermore, your 1040 and W2 documents will be automatically transferred from the IRS when you complete the verification step, so you will no longer need to upload those documents manually. These are just a few ways in which Clarity enhances the application process.
EBM believes that maintaining a diverse community is essential to creating a good learning environment, and seeks to build a school community that reflects the world outside the classroom.
Although the school is pleased to be able to offer financial assistance, we cannot guarantee that all families who qualify will receive FA to the full extent of their assessed need.
STEPS FOR PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES (2025-2026 FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE)
- Visit the Clarity Application page to create an account
- Complete the form for all living parents/guardians of the child applying
- Be sure to type in 'East Bay Montessori' during the 'Add a School' portion of the application
- Follow the steps in Clarity to complete the financial information. It is important that the information entered is truthful to your household.
- In the 'Other Considerations' box, list any friends or family members that may be assisting with tuition. Include any other information that is important for us to know when determining your award.
- Review your application and Submit!
- There is a $65 application fee per family, regardless of the number of children applying.
To get started, please go to the
Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes between 30-60 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $65 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as East Bay Montessori may require you to upload additional tax documentation.
If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at
support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
